Baltimore Custom House

Baltimore, MD

DCM provided construction services to replace the roof of this historical building located two blocks north of the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. It required the removal of the existing roofing system down to the concrete deck in order to install a new protected roof membrane system (PRMA) with R-20 rigid insulation. Our scope also included stone restoration/re-pointing, hazardous material abatement, demolition of the vent roof structures, and installation of new flashing. Due to the space restrictions and existing conditions, DCM also needed to remove and temporarily store the existing HVAC units on the roof including cooling towers, exhaust fans, and support structure.
